Alde Compact 4000 D — Diesel Boiler & Water Heater
The Alde Compact 4000 D brings together diesel-powered central heating and hot water in one compact unit, built for anyone who wants to run their heating straight from the vehicle's own diesel tank rather than relying on gas bottles. Available as the standard model or the upgraded Plus version, both combine a stepless diesel burner with mains electric heating elements, giving you up to 9kW of combined output whenever you need it.
Heat is distributed the Alde way — through pipes, convectors and heating accessories routed around the vehicle, so warmth rises gently through air gaps rather than blasting out from a single vent. It's a genuinely modular system too, suited to campervans, overlanders, sports homes, and luxury horseboxes alike.
Standard or Plus — what actually changes?
The core heating performance is identical between the two — same diesel burner, same fuel consumption, same 9kW combined output. Here's what genuinely sets them apart:

Everything else — diesel output, fuel consumption, tank volumes, pressures, and dual-zone heating — is exactly the same on both models. If continuous hot water isn't a priority for you, the standard model gives you the same core heating performance for less money and less weight.
