Vango Palma Awning Range

The Vango Palma is a compact touring awning built for caravanners who want reliable shelter without the bulk. With a 2.4m depth that suits tighter UK pitches, it's designed for weekend trips and short breaks rather than long seasonal stays.

The range comes in two frame types and two widths, so you can match it to your caravan and how you like to pitch:

  • Palma 260 (Poled) and Palma 330 (Poled) — Vango's PowerDual steel and fibreglass pole structure, set up in around 10 minutes
  • Palma Air 260 and Palma Air 330 — AirBeam single-point inflation for a pole-free pitch in around 8 minutes, pump included

Every Palma awning is made from Dynamic Weave 100™ fabric with a 4000mm hydrostatic head, and comes with a draught skirt, wheel arch cover and bracer pole as standard. Diamond Clear windows, mesh side doors and an easy-access flat door are included across the range.

Not sure which width fits your caravan? Check our Awning Size Guide — you'll need to measure your straight awning rail, not the overall caravan length, to get the right fit.

Which Palma is right for you?

Poled vs Air — The poled Palma is lighter on cost and simple to repair on the road (no valves or seams to worry about), but takes a couple more minutes to pitch. The Palma Air trades a slightly higher price for a faster, pole-free setup — worth it if you value convenience over saving £30–40.

260 vs 330 — Measure your caravan's straight awning rail first. The 260 suits smaller tourers and tighter pitches; the 330 gives noticeably more room for a table and chairs if your rail length allows it.

Vango Palma FAQs

The Palma uses a poled steel-and-fibreglass frame; the Palma Air uses AirBeam inflatable poles for a faster, pole-free pitch. Both share the same fabric, dimensions and included accessories.

The Palma range fits awning rail heights of 235–250cm. Measure your straight rail length (not overall caravan length) to choose between the 260cm and 330cm widths — see our Awning Size Guide for full instructions.

No — it's built as a touring awning for short breaks and weekend trips rather than a full seasonal pitch. For longer stays, see our seasonal awning range.
